Osbie Antonio Sea, Sex Trafficking, Tennessee 2024

A 32-year-old man from Memphis, Tennessee, has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for conspiring to commit sex trafficking of a minor.

Osbie Antonio Sea, also known as ‘Money’, ‘Hard Money’, and ‘Mr. Money’, was sentenced on Friday by U.S. District Court Judge J. Daniel Breen.

The crime occurred in early 2013 when Sea met a 14-year-old girl at a K-Mart in the Raleigh area of Memphis. Sea gave her a flyer and told her to call him if she wanted to make some money.

Soon after, the victim ran away from her home and called Sea. He took her to his apartment and later to the Extended Stay America hotel near Kirby Parkway and Poplar Avenue. According to the victim, Sea knew she was a minor, but she told everyone she was 18 because ‘she knew she could get in trouble’.

During her stay at the hotel, Sea posted pictures of the victim on the website www.Backpage.com. The victim stated that she had sex with at least two people at Sea’s instruction and that Sea took all the money earned from the sex acts.

In addition to the 10-year prison sentence, Judge Breen ordered Sea to serve five years of supervised release. There is no parole in the federal prison system.

The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Assistant U.S. Attorney Leetra J. Harris represented the government.
