St. Louis Sheriff Perry Johnson has been indicted on a federal civil rights charge, according to a recent press release.
Johnson, the Sheriff of St. Louis County, was indicted on one count of deprivation of rights under color of law by a grand jury on March 27, 2024.
The indictment alleges that Johnson, while acting under the color of law, willfully deprived an individual of their constitutional rights.
