BOSTON – A shocking case of methamphetamine trafficking has been uncovered in Allston, Massachusetts, with the arrest of Peter Schiepers, a 32-year-old man. According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Schiepers has been charged with one count of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
According to the charging documents, law enforcement received information in November 2024 that Schiepers was supplying methamphetamine in and around the Boston area. A cooperating source conducted multiple controlled purchases allegedly from Schiepers between November 2024 and February 2025.
Schiepers allegedly sold the cooperating source one ounce of methamphetamine and one vial of Butanediol (BDO), a GHB analogue, on Nov. 25, 2024. He also directed the cooperating source to only communicate with him via the encrypted messaging application, Signal.
On Dec. 16, 2024, Schiepers allegedly sold the confidential source 111 grams of 100% pure methamphetamine and approximately one gram of ketamine out of his Allston residence. In January 2025, he allegedly conducted a third transaction for another ounce of methamphetamine and one liter of BDO.
The charge of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine provides for a sentence of up to 20 years in prison, at least three years and up to a lifetime of supervised release and a fine of up to $1 million. Sentences are imposed by a federal district court judge based upon the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and statutes which govern the determination of a sentence in a criminal case.
United States Attorney Leah B. Foley and Stephen D. Belleau, Acting Special Agent in Charge of the Drug Enforcement Administration’s New England Field Office, made the announcement today. Valuable assistance was provided by the Boston Police Department and the United States Postal Inspectors. Assistant U.S. Attorney John O. Wray of the Narcotics & Money Laundering Unit is prosecuting the case.
The details contained in the charging documents are allegations. The defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
