Trenton, New Jersey, was the epicenter of a fentanyl and cocaine trafficking operation that netted a staggering 21.7-year prison sentence for Jamal Wilson, aka ‘Vill,’ 49.
Prosecutors say Wilson, a convicted felon, peddled the deadly substances and kept a cache of guns in his Trenton home, which was discovered by law enforcement in August 2022.
Wilson’s downfall was the result of a joint investigation by the Trenton Safe Streets Task Force, comprising the FBI, ATF, and other agencies, which uncovered a vast network of associates involved in the illicit trade.
U.S. Attorney Robert Frazer hailed the sentence as a victory in the ongoing fight against ‘a deadly combination that poisons our communities and fuels violence.’
