A Monroe County man has been locked up for 96 months after a massive fentanyl and cocaine bust in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. Jayson Diaz, 35, was sentenced on April 17, 2026, for possession with intent to distribute the deadly substances.
Between October 23, 2024, and November 19, 2024, a confidential source purchased cocaine and fentanyl on four occasions from Diaz. Investigators executed a search warrant at his residence on November 21, 2024, and seized 1.3 kilograms of cocaine, over 250 grams of fentanyl, and three firearms.
Diaz’s operation was a significant threat to public safety, and his arrest and conviction are a testament to the hard work of the investigators. The case was brought as part of a district-wide initiative to combat the nationwide epidemic of heroin and opioid trafficking.
