A New Castle woman is going down for two-and-a-half years for pushing fentanyl, heroin, and cocaine in Western PA. Alexis Donnell, 30, pleaded guilty to conspiring to distribute the deadly drugs between August 2023 and August 2024.
According to court records, Donnell was part of a Detroit-based trafficking ring that sold the drugs in Lawrence and Beaver counties. She’s got a history of violence, theft, and other crimes.
Donnell’s sentence was handed down by US District Judge Robert J. Colville. Assistant US Attorneys Craig W. Haller and V. Joseph Sonson led the prosecution.
The investigation was a joint effort between the FBI, DEA, Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office, and local police departments.
The case was part of the Homeland Security Task Force initiative, aimed at taking down international crime cartels and gangs.
