Six people, including a 65-year-old, were busted in a massive drug trafficking ring in Sumter and Lee County, South Carolina.
According to the indictment, Lorenzo Blackwell, 27, Marquis Quintell Durant, 38, Marcus Martenez McConico, 37, Kalvin Clay Singletary, 36, Perry Sherrod Taft, 65, and Nikennia Fatese Carter, 34, were trafficking massive quantities of cocaine, crack cocaine, fentanyl, marijuana, and firearms.
The investigation, led by the Homeland Security Task Force, was part of the FBI’s Operation Spring Cleaning, targeting violent gangs and drug activity.
During the operation, law enforcement seized significant amounts of illicit substances and multiple firearms.
The indictment is part of the Homeland Security Task Force’s initiative to combat transnational criminal organizations.
