Pharell Bronse Jackson, Methamphetamine Trafficking, Arkansas 2023

EL DORADO, ARKANSAS – A South Arkansas drug trafficking organization has been dealt a major blow as the final member of the group was sentenced to federal prison for distributing large quantities of methamphetamine, according to a recent press release from the United States District Court in El Dorado.

Pharell Bronse Jackson, age 32, a resident of El Dorado, Arkansas, was sentenced to 168 months imprisonment and a 3-year term of supervised release for his role in the conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine. This brings the total combined prison time for the group to 47 years.

According to court documents, the investigation into the drug trafficking organization began in February 2019, led by the 13th Judicial District Drug Task Force, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). During the course of the investigation, the group was identified as responsible for distributing large quantities of methamphetamine from Magnolia, Arkansas, to other locales in the Western District of Arkansas and the Eastern District of Arkansas.

The group’s members were indicted federally and have been sentenced as follows:

Pharell Bronse Jackson: Conspiracy to Distribute Methamphetamine – 168 months imprisonment and 3-year term of supervised release

Michael Fitzgerald Williams Jr.: Conspiracy to Distribute Methamphetamine – 120 months imprisonment and 3-year term of supervised release

Gary Bernard Green II: Distribution of Methamphetamine – 168 months imprisonment and 3-year term of supervised release

Jacovas Deonta Mitchell: Knowing and Intentionally Distributing Methamphetamine – 108 months imprisonment and 3-year term of supervised release

U.S. Attorney David Clay Fowlkes of the Western District of Arkansas made the announcement, praising the collaborative efforts of the 13th Judicial District Drug Task Force, the DEA Little Rock, and the FBI in bringing the case to a successful conclusion.

The case is part of Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN), a program aimed at reducing violent crime and gun violence in communities across the country. The program is designed to foster trust and legitimacy in communities, support community-based organizations that help prevent violence, set focused and strategic enforcement priorities, and measure the results.
