Assault Rocks Tulsa Neighborhood
A shocking crime has shaken the community in Tulsa, Oklahoma. 37-year-old Polly Anne Sanders, a resident of Tulsa, has pleaded guilty to Assault with a Dangerous Weapon in Indian Country, in the Eastern District of Oklahoma.
According to court documents, Sanders committed the heinous crime on August 18, 2020, within the Eastern District of Oklahoma, in Indian Country. The indictment alleged that Sanders, an Indian, did assault D.L. with a dangerous weapon with intent to do bodily harm.
The charges against Sanders arose from an investigation by the Henryetta Police Department, the Okmulgee County Sheriff’s Office, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The authorities have worked tirelessly to bring the perpetrator to justice.
The Honorable Kimberly E. West, U.S. Magistrate Judge in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, in Muskogee, accepted the plea and ordered the completion of a presentence investigation report.
Polly Anne Sanders, 37, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, faces a maximum of 10 years imprisonment, a fine up to $250,000.00, or both, for her role in the Assault with a Dangerous Weapon in Indian Country.
