DAVENPORT, Iowa – The grim saga of Trevon Demon Horne, 23, a Quad Cities drug kingpin, reached its somber climax on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, as the federal bench sentenced him to 126 months in prison for his heinous crimes.
Horne was nabbed by the Davenport Police Department after a no-holds-barred search warrant led to a bounty of contraband. Inside Horne’s residence, law enforcement uncovered approximately a pound of potent marijuana, digital scales designed for precise drug transactions, and hard-earned currency. But the revelation that sent shockwaves through the courtroom was the discovery of a Glock .45 caliber firearm with an auto-sear switch, converting it into a deadly machinegun.
Horne’s admission to selling marijuana and using the firearm to further his drug trafficking enterprise painted a picture of a man who thought he could walk on the dark side without consequence.
