Randy Lee Hall, 37, Pleads Guilty to Methamphetamine Trafficking in Kentucky

COVINGTON, Ky – In a devastating blow to the community, Randy Lee Hall, a 37-year-old Union man, pleaded guilty on Tuesday before U.S. District Court Chief Judge Danny C. Reeves to possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.

According to court documents, Hall admitted to possessing 50 grams or more of actual methamphetamine on November 14, 2019. Law enforcement officials searched Hall’s car and recovered 64.5 grams of actual methamphetamine, to which Hall confessed he intended to distribute.

Hall was indicted in December 2019, and the investigation was conducted by the DEA and the Florence Police Department. Assistant U.S. Attorney Amanda B. Harris represented the United States in this case.

Robert M. Duncan, Jr., United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Kentucky; Keith W. Martin, Special Agent in Charge for the DEA Detroit Field Division; and Chief Tom Grau, Florence Police Department, jointly announced the guilty plea, which marks a significant victory in the fight against methamphetamine trafficking in Kentucky.

Hall is facing a sentence of not less than 10 years and not more than life imprisonment, as well as a fine of not more than $10 million. The sentencing date has yet to be determined by the Court.
