Rapid City Woman Stole Thousands from Vets

A Rapid City woman has been accused of stealing over $1,000 in U.S. currency from the Department of Veterans Affairs. According to a federal indictment, Cassandra Koscak, 39, stole the funds between March 2012 and December 2012 while serving in a fiduciary capacity.

Koscak was indicted by a federal grand jury on April 19, 2016, and appeared before U.S. Magistrate Judge Daneta Wollmann on May 6, 2016. She pleaded not guilty to the indictment.
