Rashad Johnson, 35, of Los Angeles, California, was sentenced to 10 years in prison on gun charges in the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
Johnson, an armed career criminal, was convicted of being a felon in possession of a firearm, a charge that carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison.
According to court documents, Johnson was arrested in February 2022 after he was caught carrying a gun in a mall in Savannah, Georgia. He was subsequently charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm.
Johnson’s sentence was handed down by the Honorable Fernando M. Olguin, United States District Judge for the Central District of California.
