Jeremy Christopher Ford, Shooting, Texas 2023

⏱ 2 min read

A Michigan man, Jeremy Christopher Ford, aka Allstar JR, is accused of unleashing a hail of bullets at a Houston restaurant, leaving multiple victims in his wake. The rampage unfolded on April 8 at a eatery on Kirby Drive. Witnesses reported hearing gunfire and screams as panicked patrons fled for their lives.

According to court documents, Ford allegedly started a confrontation with several individuals inside the restaurant, which escalated into a deadly shooting spree. A handgun fell to the floor, and Ford picked it up, firing wildly as people ran towards the elevator, before returning to fire more rounds into a motionless victim.

Law enforcement found a handgun hidden at the scene, which authorities believe Ford had stashed before fleeing. The accused shooter later posted videos on social media, taunting individuals involved in the altercation and releasing a music video referencing the shooting.

Ford’s past comes back to haunt him, as a prior felony conviction makes him ineligible to possess a firearm or ammunition. The FBI, assisted by the Houston Police Department, investigated the case, and Assistant U.S. Attorney Keri L. Fuller is prosecuting the case.
