Raul Arce-Flores Charged with Re-Entering the United States
Raul Arce-Flores, 34, of Omaha, is accused of re-entering the United States after being deported on March 26, 2016. The maximum penalty if convicted is 10 years imprisonment, a $250,000 fine, a 3 year term of supervised release, and a $100 special assessment.
Arce-Flores is not the only defendant charged in the recent grand jury indictments. A total of 23 defendants were charged with various crimes, ranging from re-entry to drug trafficking and theft.
Estevan Armstrong, of Omaha, is charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm on March 14, 2016. The maximum penalty if convicted is 10 years imprisonment, a $250,000 fine, a 3 year term of supervised release, and a $100 special assessment.
Joel Beltran is charged in a three-count indictment. Count I charges Beltran with providing a false social security number on March 15, 2016. The maximum penalty if convicted is 5 years imprisonment, a $250,000 fine, a 3 year term of supervised release, and a $100 special assessment.
A group of four defendants, including Carlos Alonso Carrazco-Peralta, 27, Jose Martinez-Pena, 39, of York, Nebraska, and Naysa Bermudez-Ulloa, 22, are charged with conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of methamphetamine between March 1, 2016, and April 2016. The maximum penalty if convicted is life imprisonment, a $10,000,000 fine, a 5 year term of supervised release, and a $100 special assessment.
The indictments were returned by a federal grand jury in the District of Nebraska. United States Attorney Deborah R. Gilg announced the charges. It’s worth noting that the indictment is a mere accusation and every defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
