A 20-year-old Rochester man has been sentenced to 42 months in prison for his role in a fentanyl and cocaine trafficking operation. Reynaldo Colon was arrested in April 2016 after police executed a search warrant at his Alexander Street residence.
According to Assistant U.S. Attorney Charles E. Moynihan, Colon was found to be in possession of quantities of fentanyl and cocaine, which were packaged for distribution. Additionally, officers seized a .25 caliber pistol and a .22 caliber revolver from the master bedroom, one of which had been reported stolen in 2015.
The investigation was conducted by the New York State Police, under the direction of Major Eric Laughton, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, under the direction of Special Agent-in-Charge Ashan Benedict.
