Richard A. Kincaid, III, Cocaine Distribution, Maine 2014

Bangor, Maine – Richard A. Kincaid, III, a 35-year-old Waterbury, Connecticut resident, has pleaded guilty to distributing cocaine in Maine.

According to court records, on March 25, 2014, Kincaid drove from Connecticut to a residence in Bangor to deliver seven ounces of cocaine and to collect about $3,000 from his customer for a prior drug delivery. He was arrested a week later when he returned to Bangor.

The defendant, Richard A. Kincaid, III, faces up to 20 years in prison, a $1,000,000 fine, or both. He will be sentenced after the completion of a presentence investigation report by the U.S. Probation Office.

The case was investigated by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency.

Kincaid was arrested on April 1, 2014, as a result of this investigation. He is currently free on bail, awaiting sentencing.
