Sabin Heart Inman, Methamphetamine Distribution, Florida 2023

A Rockledge man has been sentenced to 16 years and 8 months in federal prison for his role in distributing massive quantities of methamphetamine in Brevard County.

Sabin Heart Inman, 26, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Carlos E. Mendoza for possession with intent to distribute and distribution of 50 grams or more of methamphetamine. Inman entered a guilty plea on February 8, 2024.

According to court documents, Inman repeatedly distributed methamphetamine and fentanyl to a confidential source and an undercover agent throughout 2023. The transactions with the undercover agent often involved more than 100 grams of pure methamphetamine, and one such deal involved over 50 grams of a fentanyl mixture.

This case was a textbook example of the brazen and ruthless nature of modern-day methamphetamine distribution. Inman’s actions put countless lives at risk, and his sentence should serve as a warning to others who would engage in such criminal activity.

The case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, and the Rockledge Police Department. Assistant United States Attorney Megan Testerman handled the prosecution.

Inman’s sentence is a stark reminder of the consequences of engaging in methamphetamine distribution. As the opioid crisis continues to ravage communities across the country, it is more important than ever that law enforcement and prosecutors take a zero-tolerance approach to these crimes.
