Roque Preciado, 35, a suspect with a history of violence, has been charged in a federal court case in the Texas Western District Court (TXWD) with Violent Crime.
The federal criminal case, filed on May 21, 2024, has sent shockwaves throughout the law enforcement community, with many calling for stricter penalties for those who commit such heinous crimes.
According to sources close to the case, Roque Preciado was taken into custody by local authorities on May 15, 2024 and has been held without bail ever since.
