A San Antonio woman has been sentenced to 6 years in prison for her role in a headstone scam.
According to a report by KSAT, the woman, whose name was not specified in the press release, was convicted of theft by deception and organized crime charges.
The scam, which took place in San Antonio, involved the woman and her accomplices selling fake headstones to grieving families.
The woman was sentenced on March 25, 2024 and will serve 6 years in prison for her crimes.
