Harrisburg, Pennsylvania – In a shocking revelation, 46-year-old Saqueena Williams, also known as “Queenie,” was sentenced to 20 years in prison for her involvement in a cocaine trafficking and firearms operation.
According to the United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, Williams was convicted of drug trafficking and possessing guns in furtherance of drug trafficking in November 2021. A jury trial revealed that Williams trafficked over five kilograms of cocaine and possessed guns to further her operation.
Williams, the operator of Queenies Cafe, was found to have run a drug trafficking conspiracy from 2012 to 2018. She was also ordered to surrender her interests in Queenies Cafe, as well as the liquor license and other properties.
Her co-conspirator, Nyree Letterlough, 51, of Harrisburg, was also convicted and sentenced to 111 months’ imprisonment in August 2022. Letterlough was forced to surrender her interests in Grams Grill, located in Harrisburg, and another real estate property.
Williams’ sentencing was met with a mandatory minimum sentence required by law. The case is part of Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN), a program aimed at reducing violent crime and gun violence in communities.
The case was investigated by the Pennsylvania State Police, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Harrisburg Police Bureau, and numerous other law enforcement agencies. Assistant U.S. Attorneys Michael Consiglio and Samuel Dalke prosecuted the case.
