Ferguson William, Vote Fraud, Kansas 1947

In a scathing critique, Senator Ferguson RMich was accused of locking the barn door after the horse is stolen, in connection to the alleged irregularities in last summer’s Kansas City Democratic primary. The investigation, led by the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee, was supposed to get to the bottom of the disputed ballots. However, FBI agents had already concluded their inquiry last fall, questioning only six people. The subsequent decision by the Justice Department to announce no grounds for Federal prosecution has raised eyebrows, particularly with the recent theft of disputed ballots from the City Election Board’s office.
