LOS ANGELES, CA – In a major blow to the city’s underworld, federal authorities have brought down notorious defendant Serratos-Estrada on charges of major drug trafficking.
A grand jury indictment unsealed Thursday alleges Serratos-Estrada played a key role in a vast cocaine and heroin trafficking ring that spanned multiple states. According to court documents, the operation brought in millions of dollars in illicit revenue.
The 33-year-old defendant was taken into custody by federal agents at his residence in the San Fernando Valley. Serratos-Estrada is currently being held without bail pending a hearing in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
