Seven West Tennessee residents are behind bars on federal charges tied to the distribution of half a kilogram or more of high-purity methamphetamine—known on the streets as ICE. The arrests, carried out in a pre-dawn raid on February 22, 2018, mark the end of a 12-month investigation into a regional drug ring pushing 95% pure meth across Dyer and surrounding counties.
Among those charged: Christopher Faulcon, a/k/a ‘Wheezy,’ 32, of Dyersburg, TN; Tommy Taylor, a/k/a ‘Chubbs,’ 35, Friendship, TN; Damien Nixon, 39, Gates, TN; David McNeely, 41, Finley, TN; Patricia Wilson, a/k/a ‘PJ,’ 30, Dyersburg, TN; Elisha Kirk, 29, Dyersburg, TN; and William Hardy, 54, Dyersburg, TN. Each faces multiple counts of conspiracy to distribute 50 grams or more of actual methamphetamine, a charge that carries severe federal penalties.
A federal grand jury in Jackson, TN returned an eighteen-count indictment on February 20, 2018, which remained sealed until law enforcement moved in. The probe, led by the FBI and the Dyersburg Police Department with support from the FBI Jackson Safe Streets Task Force, culminated in a single seizure of approximately ½ kilo of meth—enough to supply thousands of doses across rural Tennessee.
The indictment details a coordinated operation in which suspects allegedly transported, stored, and sold ICE across West Tennessee. Some defendants also face additional charges under the Controlled Substances Act for possession of firearms during drug trafficking—a violation that could add decades to any eventual sentence.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Beth C. Boswell is prosecuting the case for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Tennessee. U.S. Attorney D. Michael Dunavant confirmed the charges, emphasizing the federal crackdown on meth networks flooding communities with deadly narcotics.
This case remains under active prosecution. If convicted, the defendants face mandatory minimum sentences with no parole—proof, officials say, that running a drug ring in rural America now comes with a one-way ticket to federal prison.
