Sharion Motley-Lipscomb, Possessing Contraband in Prison, Pennsylvania 2026

SCRANTON, Pennsylvania – Sharion Motley-Lipscomb, a 29-year-old man from Cleveland, Ohio, has been accused of possessing a deadly weapon while an inmate at the Federal Correctional Institute Schuylkill.

According to the indictment, on January 17, 2016, Motley-Lipscomb possessed a four-inch piece of plexi-glass sharpened to a point with a cloth handle. This was allegedly found in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania.

The Bureau of Prisons and the Federal Bureau of Investigation investigated the case.

Assistant United States Attorney James M. Buchanan is prosecuting the case.

The maximum penalty under federal law for this offense is 5 years of imprisonment, a term of supervised release following imprisonment, and a fine.

An indictment is only an allegation. All persons charged are presumed to be innocent unless and until found guilty in court.

Motley-Lipscomb is currently facing charges of possessing contraband in prison. If found guilty, he could face up to 5 years in prison and a fine.
