A Clarke County woman has been sentenced to five years of probation and ordered to pay full restitution after pleading guilty to access device fraud. Stephanie Hollifield, a 34-year-old resident of Grove Hill, Alabama, was sentenced on May 22, 2014.
Hollifield was charged with unlawfully using the credit cards she stole from the home of her employer. Her guilty plea was accepted on May 15, 2014.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Hollifield was ordered to pay $2,406.96 in restitution as part of her sentence. The total amount includes the losses suffered by her employer due to the stolen credit cards.
The case was investigated by the Foley, Alabama Police Department and presented to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for prosecution. Assistant United States Attorney Daryl Atchison was assigned to the case.
