Manhattan U.S. Attorney Announces Arrest of Bronx Man in Connection with the Murder of Jessica White

Stiven Siri-ReynosO, 24, of the Bronx, is facing a maximum sentence of death or life in prison after being charged with one count of murder through the use of a firearm in connection with a crime of violence, and aiding and abetting the same.

The crime took place on June 11, 2016, in the vicinity of the John Adams Houses in the Bronx, New York.

The case is being handled by the Office’s Violent and Organized Crime Unit. Assistant United States Attorney Drew Johnson-Skinner is in charge of the prosecution.

Mr. Kim praised the outstanding investigative work of the FBI, the NYPD, and the New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force.

The defendant is expected to be presented later today in Manhattan federal court before United States Magistrate Judge Andrew J. Peck.

The charge contained in the Indictment is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
