TAMPA, FL – Six individuals linked to a brutal criminal enterprise operating in and around Tampa are facing federal charges that could lock them up for life. United States Attorney Roger B. Handberg unsealed an indictment today naming Christian Andujar Rivera (26, Tampa), Irving Diego Bruzon (28, Tampa), Xavier Chase Gardner (31, Tampa), Mohamed Nidal Jaber (32, Tampa), Julissa Collazo (27, Port Ritchey), and Kyle Miller (33, Orlando) in a sweeping racketeering case.
The indictment alleges these defendants were core members and associates of “AP,” shorthand for Alexander Park, a criminal organization responsible for a litany of offenses across multiple states. The charges aren’t just about street-level crime; we’re talking racketeering conspiracy, conspiracy to commit robbery, bank fraud, murder in aid of racketeering, arson, and possession with intent to distribute a staggering 1,000 kilograms or more of marijuana. If convicted on all counts, each defendant faces a maximum penalty of life in federal prison. The feds are also moving to seize any assets tied to the gang’s dirty money.
According to court documents, AP wasn’t confined to Hillsborough County. This crew allegedly extended its reach to Oregon, California, and Michigan, committing aggravated assault, home invasion robbery, and burglary in those states. The indictment paints a picture of a sophisticated criminal network willing to use violence and intimidation to maintain control and expand its operations. This wasn’t just about moving drugs; it was about building an empire fueled by fear and illicit profits.
Investigators from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the Drug Enforcement Administration, Internal Revenue Service – Criminal Investigation, the Tampa Police Department, and the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office spent considerable time and resources building this case, with support from the State Attorney’s Office for the 13th Judicial Circuit. The operation falls under the umbrella of the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF), a multi-agency initiative aimed at dismantling major criminal organizations.
“This is a prosecutor-led, intelligence-driven approach,” a source within the OCDETF task force told Grimy Times. “We’re not just going after the low-hanging fruit. We’re going after the heads of the snake, the people who are orchestrating these crimes and profiting from the misery of others.” The indictment serves as a formal accusation, and each defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Assistant United States Attorney Shauna S. Hale will be prosecuting the case. The government intends to prove that AP operated as a criminal enterprise, engaging in a pattern of racketeering activity.
