Terry Duran Martin, a repeat offender, has been sentenced to 168 months in federal prison, followed by five years of supervised release, for distributing methamphetamine in Texarkana, Arkansas.
The Honorable Chief Judge Susan O. Hickey presided over the sentencing hearing in the United States District Court at Texarkana.
According to court records, on August 11, 2021, Martin, age 40, sold more than 50 grams of pure methamphetamine to a confidential informant working with the Bi-State Narcotics Task force and the FBI.
At the time, Martin had only recently completed a term of post-prison supervision stemming from a 2013 federal cocaine trafficking conviction.
Martin was indicted by the United States Grand Jury in connection with the August 11, 2021, methamphetamine transaction, and later pleaded guilty to that offense on December 12, 2024.
U.S. Attorney David Clay Fowlkes made the announcement. The Bi-State Narcotics Task Force and the FBI investigated the case, and Assistant U.S. Attorney Graham Jones prosecuted the case.
