TOLEDO, Ohio – A Toledo man has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for his role in a child pornography case.
Terry Warejko, 63, of Toledo, Ohio, was sentenced on Monday, May 23, 2022, to fifteen years in prison by U.S. District Judge James G. Carr after Warejko pleaded guilty to an Information charging him with possession of child pornography.
According to court documents, in December 2014, law enforcement authorities executed a search warrant at Warejko’s Toledo-area residence after obtaining information of suspected file-sharing of child pornography at the address.
During the search, authorities obtained several electronic devices, which were later confirmed to contain child pornography that depicted prepubescent minors.
Warejko spoke with authorities and admitted to viewing child pornography for the past 20 years and using file-sharing programs to download and share files.
Warejko also admitted to visiting paid sites to view and record live-streaming naked women, some of whom displayed their nude minor children and engaged in sex acts.
This case was investigated by the Toledo FBI and was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Tracey B. Tangeman.
Terry Warejko, the defendant, is ordered to pay $119,000 in restitution as part of his sentence.
