Texas Woman Pleads Guilty in Kansas Designer Drug Scam

Hustler Michelle Reulet, 37, of Montgomery, Texas, has copped to her role in a designer drug conspiracy. The U.S. Attorney for Kansas, Tom Beall, announced the guilty plea Monday.

Reulet and her co-defendant Michael Myers ran Bully Wholesale out of Houston, selling products sourced from Tracy Picanso and Roy Ehrett in Olathe, Kan. Their wares, marketed as Pump It, Head Trip, Black Arts, and Grave Digger, were little more than dangerous chemicals packaged under false claims of safety.

Reulet’s plea admitted she was well aware that consumers were using these drugs to get high, ignoring the product labels’ fraudulent claims about their non-hazardous nature. These substances were labeled as incense, potpourri, and shoe deodorizer—all without warning users about potential harm.

The enterprise was a goldmine, with gross sales exceeding $2 million. Now, Reulet is facing serious consequences: she’s agreed to five years in federal prison and the forfeiture of nearly $2 million in civil penalties.

Scheduled for April 17, sentencing will bring an end to this sordid affair. Beall took the opportunity to commend a laundry list of law enforcement agencies that cracked down on this criminal syndicate, including the DEA, FDA, Department of Homeland Security, FBI, and local police departments.

Reulet’s fall from grace is a stark reminder of the dangers posed by unregulated designer drugs and the meticulous work required to bring such criminals to justice.
