A 39-year-old woman from Cheyenne, Wyoming has been sentenced for her role in a methamphetamine trafficking operation.
Tiffany Dawn Havner was arrested in Cheyenne on March 8, 2021 and charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
According to the Laramie County Sheriff’s Office, which investigated the case, Havner was found guilty of the crime and was subsequently sentenced to 36 months of imprisonment, followed by 36 months of supervised release. Havner was also ordered to pay $500 in restitution and a $100 special assessment.
Havner’s sentencing is the latest development in a string of methamphetamine-related cases in Wyoming. The state has seen a surge in methamphetamine use and trafficking in recent years, with law enforcement agencies working to combat the issue.
The case against Havner was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Jonathan C. Coppom.
