Todd E. Grimm, Receipt of Child Pornography, Wisconsin 2025

Todd E. Grimm, a 57-year-old man from Menasha, Wisconsin, has been accused of receiving child pornography. According to Acting United States Attorney Richard Frohling, a federal grand jury returned an indictment on June 17, 2025, alleging that Grimm received child pornography in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 2252A(a)(2)(A).

The indictment alleges three counts of receipt of child pornography on various dates in February, May, and July of 2023. If convicted of any of those three counts, Grimm faces a mandatory five years’ imprisonment and up to 20 years’ imprisonment. He may also be fined up to $250,000 and would be required to register as a sexual offender under state and federal law.

Grimm’s case was brought as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse launched in May 2006, by the U.S. Department of Justice. Led by U.S. Attorneys’ Offices and the Child Exploitation and Obscenity Section (CEOS), Project Safe Childhood marshals federal, state and local resources to better locate, apprehend and prosecute individuals who exploit children via the Internet, as well as to identify and rescue victims.

This case was investigated by the Menasha Police Department. It will be prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Daniel R. Humble.

An indictment is only a charge and is not evidence of guilt. The defendant is presumed innocent and is entitled to a fair trial at which the government must prove his guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
