A 45-year-old Ohio man was locked up for 20 years after admitting to sharing sickening child abuse images. The Kirtland resident, Todd Oravecz, faced federal charges for distributing visual depictions of minors involved in sexually explicit conduct, as well as possessing child sexual abuse materials. Federal agents nabbed the predator after a tip from NCMEC linked his online antics to his Cleveland-area account. Agents hit his pad with a warrant, seizing devices that held over 100 CSAMs and even unearthed evidence of a 2021 assault on a five-year-old. Oravecz’s conviction is part of Project Safe Childhood, an effort nationwide to fight child sexual exploitation.
