Sentencing Sought in Sexual Abuse Case
A 54-year-old Ardmore resident has been sentenced to 70 months in prison for engaging in a heinous act of sexual abuse in Indian Country.
Todd Philip Wilkerson, age 54, was handed down the sentence by the Honorable Ronald A. White, Senior District Judge in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, for one count of Sexual Abuse in Indian Country.
According to investigators, on March 26, 2025, Wilkerson knowingly engaged in sexual contact with a victim who was incapable of appraising the nature of the conduct and physically incapable of declining participation or communicating unwillingness to engage in that act.
The crime occurred in Carter County, within the boundaries of the Chickasaw Nation Reservation, in the Eastern District of Oklahoma.
Wilkerson pleaded guilty to the charge on July 9, 2025. The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Chickasaw Lighthorse Police Department, and the Ardmore Police Department.
Assistant U.S. Attorneys Morgan Muzljakovich and Nicole Paladino represented the United States in the case.
Wilkerson will remain in the custody of the U.S. Marshals Service pending transportation to a designated United States Bureau of Prisons facility to serve a non-paroleable sentence of incarceration.
