Tulsa Man Charged with Meth, Gun Crimes
Filiberto Almaguer-Estrada, a 30-year-old Tulsa resident, has been charged with Felon in Possession of a Firearm and Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute. According to the DOJ USAO Oklahoma, the charges stem from an investigation by the Drug Enforcement Administration and Tulsa Police Department.
Almaguer-Estrada is accused of possessing a firearm and ammunition despite being a convicted felon. He is also charged with knowingly possessing methamphetamine with intent to distribute. The case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Attila Bogdan.
The charges were announced as part of a series of indictments handed down by the May Federal Grand Jury 2024-A. In total, 7 individuals have been charged with various crimes, including drug trafficking, arson, and child pornography.
Other defendants charged in the indictments include Eduardo Agustin Barrera-Lopez, Marco Antonio Lopez-Damian, and Dennis Manuel Salazar-Lopez, who are accused of conspiring to distribute methamphetamine and heroin. Kelly Wayne Bolden, a 47-year-old Tulsa resident, has been charged with distribution of child pornography.
Jeffery John Bowers, a 41-year-old Bartlesville resident and member of the Delaware Tribe of Indians, has been charged with arson in Indian Country. Kyle Jackson Fugate, a 26-year-old Owasso resident and member of the Osage Nation, has been charged with attempted coercion and enticement of a minor, as well as destruction of evidence and attempted production of child pornography.
Cory Lamar Jackson and Nicholas Ryan Ransom, both 34 and from Springfield, Missouri, have been charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute. Amber Dawn Knight, a 36-year-old Collinsville resident and member of the Cherokee Nation, has been charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and maintaining a drug-involved premises.
