Dannie Dee Dill, Multi-Drug Conspiracy, Oklahoma 2018

Tulsa, OK – A trio of Tulsa residents, Dannie Dee Dill, Cherie Michelle Kelley, and Darowe Jones, Jr., have been charged in a multi-drug conspiracy after a federal grand jury indictment was returned in June 2018.

According to United States Attorney R. Trent Shores, Dill, 47, and Kelley, 35, are accused of conspiring to possess and distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine and heroin. They are also charged with maintaining a place for the purpose of distributing and using the drugs.

In addition to the conspiracy charges, Dill is accused of possessing a firearm and ammunition after prior felony convictions, and possessing a firearm and ammunition in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime. Kelley is not charged with these offenses.

Jones, 38, is accused of conspiring to possess with intent to distribute 100 grams or more of heroin, to possess with intent to distribute marijuana, to possess methamphetamine. He is also charged with possession with intent to distribute heroin and marijuana, and maintaining a place for the purpose of distributing and using drugs.

Dill and Jones each face a maximum penalty of 40 years in prison and a $5,000,000 fine for the drug conspiracy charge, while Dill also faces a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine for the felon in possession of firearm and ammunition charge, and a maximum penalty of life in prison and a $250,000 fine for the possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime charge.

Kelley faces a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison and a $1,000,000 fine for the possession with intent to distribute heroin charge, and a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison and a $500,000 fine for the maintaining a drug involved premises charge.

The United States Marshal Service, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and the Tulsa Police Department are the investigative agencies for this case.
