A Pittsburgh man has been sentenced to 18 months in prison for stealing US mail and packages.
Tyrone Mobley, 55, was convicted of theft of mail matter and sentenced by United States District Judge Arthur J. Schwab on no specific date, 2022. The exact date of sentencing was not provided in the press release.
According to the indictment, Mobley stole US mail and packages from authorized depositories in the Oakland and Shadyside areas of Pittsburgh between December 2020 and September 2021. The total losses to Mobley’s victims totaled over $5,000 in value.
