Funding Misuse Rocks Tennessee University
September 27, 2023, was a day of reckoning for University of Tennessee Knoxville, as the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Tennessee announced $1,338,556 in funding misused by the institution. The University of Tennessee Knoxville received a total of $681,532 from the Office of Justice Programs, including two separate awards of $229,454 and $351,078.
