Philadelphia, PA – On March 22, 2024, Attorney General Sunday announced the takedown of a large-scale cocaine-trafficking enterprise in Philadelphia. The operation resulted in numerous arrests and seizures of drugs and firearms.
According to the press release, the investigation led to the arrest of Jose Rodriguez, who was charged with Conspiracy to Distribute Cocaine and Conspiracy to Possess with Intent to Distribute Cocaine. The charges carry a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison.
The investigation was a collaborative effort between the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General and other law enforcement agencies. The operation resulted in the seizure of over 5 kilograms of cocaine and several firearms.
