Van Nuys Duo Busted for $611M Fraud Electronics Export

LOS ANGELES – A staggering $611 million worth of stolen electronics was exported by a pair of San Fernando Valley men, according to federal charges. Saman Delafraz, 32, and Benjamin Daneshgar, 34, are accused of running Wireless World, a Van Nuys-based operation that shipped vast quantities of fraudulent goods abroad.

The duo is charged with conspiracy to commit money laundering, with their initial appearances set for United States District Court in Los Angeles. Their illicit enterprise has been linked to identity theft, credit card theft, and fraud.

Wireless World’s operations spanned warehouses in Van Nuys and New Castle, Delaware, where electronics were aggregated before being shipped out of the country. Delafraz and Daneshgar are alleged to have exported over $611 million in electronics since 2019, nearly all derived from criminal proceeds.

Search warrants executed today resulted in the seizure of Wireless World’s bank accounts and the homes of Delafraz and Daneshgar. The duo procured goods through numerous sources, including Blade Bai, who is currently serving a 15-year sentence for federal money laundering charges.

Another key player was Juan Carlos Thola-Duran, alias “Parcero,” charged with acting as a fence for South American crime tourism groups and individuals using illegal means to obtain electronics and gift cards. Thola is in federal custody facing trial in January 2026.

Delafraz and Daneshgar also bought goods directly through fraudulent channels, using stolen credit cards to load gift cards that were then used for purchases. If convicted, the defendants could face up to 20 years in federal prison. The investigation is ongoing with significant assistance from Homeland Security Investigations, the FBI, the Los Angeles Police Department, and the Cobb County Police Department.

Criminal complaints contain allegations. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
