The announcement was made by United States Attorney Carla B. Freedman and Frank A. Tarantino III, Special Agent in Charge of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), New York Division.
As part of his guilty plea, Myers admitted that between June 2020 and February 2021, he distributed cocaine, cocaine base, methamphetamine, and amphetamine. Senior United States District Judge Lawrence E. Kahn also ordered Myers to serve a 5-year term of post-imprisonment supervised release.
This case was investigated by the DEA and prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Ashlyn Miranda.
Myers’ sentence serves as a reminder of the severe consequences of engaging in drug trafficking activities. The U.S. Attorney’s Office will continue to work tirelessly to disrupt and dismantle these types of operations.
The Drug Enforcement Administration would like to thank the U.S. Attorney’s Office for their dedication to this case.
