Armed Robbers Sentenced to 25 Years in Prison

A brazen armed robbery at a marijuana stash house in Oklahoma City has landed four men in federal prison for a total of 25 years.

According to authorities, the robbery occurred on February 8, 2024, at a home in the metro area. Three men, later identified as WILLIAM LEWIS DANIELS, JORDON ISAIH WATSON, and KELDON SHERROD WILLIAMS, all from Texas, entered the home and ordered the victims onto the floor, restraining their hands with zip-ties. DANIELS held the victims at gunpoint, and the men ransacked the house, stealing $36,000 in cash, over 600 pounds of marijuana, and other items.

A security camera caught footage of four vehicles leaving the stash house, including a getaway car driven by BRANDON MICHAEL NORMAN of Florida, and a car stolen by DANIELS from the victims. The stolen car was later found in a nearby business parking lot, where the perpetrators met and swapped out vehicles.

Authorities pulled over two of the suspect vehicles without incident, arresting WATSON, WILLIAMS, and NORMAN. However, DANIELS led police on a high-speed chase down Interstate 235 during rush hour traffic, wrecked his vehicle, and fled on foot before being apprehended.

In total, police recovered 690 pounds of marijuana, $40,710 in cash, and one firearm from the three vehicles. DANIELS pleaded guilty to the charges on August 7, 2024, admitting to taking cash and marijuana from the victims and possessing a firearm despite being a drug user.

On May 1, 2025, U.S. District Judge Bernard M. Jones sentenced DANIELS to 96 months in federal prison, followed by three years of supervised release. WATSON was sentenced to 96 months, WILLIAMS to 60 months, and NORMAN to 48 months in federal prison, also followed by three years of supervised release.
