A Johnstown man, Willie Gene Gulley, Jr., 49, has been charged with distributing heroin on two separate occasions in March 2018, according to federal authorities.
The indictment, presented to the federal court in Johnstown, Pa., alleges that Gulley distributed less than 100 grams of heroin on each of the dates March 1 and March 20, 2018.
The charges against Gulley come after a lengthy investigation conducted by the Laurel Highlands Resident Agency of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Cambria County Drug Task Force.
Assistant United States Attorney Stephanie L. Haines is prosecuting the case on behalf of the government.
Gulley faces a maximum sentence of 40 years in prison and a fine of $2,000,000 or both, according to federal law. The actual sentence imposed would be based upon the seriousness of the offenses and the prior criminal history of the defendant, under the Federal Sentencing Guidelines.
