A federal judge in Wyoming has sentenced a 45-year-old man to 78 months in prison for his role in a methamphetamine conspiracy.
Rodney Goich, of Rock Springs, Wyoming, was sentenced by Federal District Court Judge Alan B. Johnson on March 18, 2015, for conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute, and to distribute, at least 500 grams of methamphetamine.
Goich was arrested in Rock Springs, Wyoming, and received a 78-month prison sentence, to be followed by five years of supervised release.
He was also ordered to pay a $500.00 fine and a $100.00 special assessment.
The case was investigated by the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation.
The sentencing comes as a blow to those who have been affected by the scourge of methamphetamine in Wyoming.
Goich’s conviction is a reminder that law enforcement agencies are working tirelessly to bring those responsible for the distribution of this dangerous substance to justice.
