ST. LOUIS – In a gritty blow against drug trafficking, U.S. District Judge Henry E. Autrey sentenced Jerry Massey to 15 years in federal prison for arranging the sale of methamphetamine, fentanyl and cocaine to the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).
Massey, 33, entered a guilty plea in April on multiple charges, including conspiracy to distribute meth and fentanyl, distribution counts, and possession with intent to distribute. The DEA had been investigating Massey since January 2022, leading to a series of purchases arranged by him across St. Louis County and Illinois.
The DEA’s evidence included substantial cash and 29 fentanyl pills found during a March 27 search at Massey’s home. His plea agreement detailed sales on multiple dates in early 2024. Darrion Dardon, 32, Darius Smith, 31, Ronald Finney, 32, and Michael Davis, 34, were also involved and have faced various sentences ranging from 84 to 96 months.
Finney’s home yielded fentanyl, cocaine base, meth, a handgun, and drug paraphernalia. Davis’ residence in St. Louis was found to contain fentanyl, drug paraphernalia, weapons, and illegal drugs. Finney and Davis are awaiting further sentencing.
The DEA and the St. Louis County Police Department conducted the investigation, with Assistant U.S. Attorneys Erin Granger leading the prosecution.
