SCRANTON, Pennsylvania – A 22-year-old Scranton man has been charged with online enticement and child pornography, authorities announced on October 22, 2021.
According to Acting United States Attorney Bruce D. Brandler, Adrean Lorenzano allegedly used a facility of interstate commerce to entice a minor to engage in sexual activity.
The complaint also alleges that Lorenzano received and possessed visual depictions of minors engaging in sexually explicit conduct.
The charges stem from an investigation by the Homeland Security Investigations, the Bethlehem Township Police Department, and the Scranton Police Department.
Assistant United States Attorney James M. Buchanan is prosecuting the case.
This case was brought as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative launched in May 2006 to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse.
Lorenzano’s charges include online enticement of a minor and the receipt and possession of visual depictions of minors engaging in sexually explicit conduct.

The maximum penalties under federal law for these offenses include life imprisonment, a mandatory minimum period of imprisonment of 10 years, a term of supervised release following imprisonment, and a fine.
