The lab confirmed that the backpack contained approximately 989.9 grams of cocaine.
This case was investigated by the Lincoln/Lancaster County Narcotics Task Force.
Green was sentenced to 87 months in prison followed by a four-year term of supervised release. There is no parole in the federal system.
The exact charges against Green were possession with the intent to distribute 500 grams or more of a mixture or substance containing a detectable amount of cocaine.
This case is a reminder of the ongoing efforts of law enforcement to combat cocaine trafficking in our community.
