Defendant Sentenced to 15 Years for Child Pornography Production
A 42-year-old man from Verona, Mo., has been sentenced to 15 years in federal prison without parole for producing and receiving child pornography.
Allen S. Worley pleaded guilty to attempting to use a minor, identified as Jane Doe #1, to produce child pornography between Dec. 9, 2014, and April 16, 2015. He also pleaded guilty to receiving child pornography over the Internet.
Worley was sentenced by U.S. District Judge M. Douglas Harpool in federal court. The case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney James J. Kelleher.
The investigation into Worley’s activities was conducted by the Southwest Missouri Cyber Crime Task Force and the Aurora, Mo., Police Department.
This case is part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative launched in May 2006 to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse.
