MUSKOGEE, OKLAHOMA – Anna Marie Scoles, 38, of Valliant, Oklahoma, faced the federal bench this week after being sentenced to a staggering 60 months in prison for Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine. The charge stemmed from a Drug Enforcement Administration and Oklahoma Highway Patrol investigation.
Scoles’s guilty plea on April 2, 2025, followed a traffic stop that uncovered over 76 grams of methamphetamine, a Schedule II controlled substance. Troopers pulled her over on Old Golden Highway in Broken Bow on August 4, 2024, and found the deadly drug in her possession.
The Honorable Ronald A. White presided over Scoles’s hearing as Assistant U.S. Attorney Richard J. Lorenz represented the United States. Scoles will serve her non-paroleable sentence while under the custody of the U.S. Marshals Service, awaiting transportation to a federal prison facility.
